What are your ordering procedures and accepted payment methods?
View our products, select your purchase and pay for the item within a reasonable amount of time. We have a relaxed 'pay when you want' policy. Unlike sellers on eBay who require buyers to pay within a period of time - We don't care when you pay. It's YOUR money and your decision when you want to purchase and we in no way want our customers to be 'pressured' to pay when they order. When you feel comfortable to pay for order, and after you do, we will then ship your item after a short handling time of 3-5 full business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
We accept Credit-Cards, US personal checks, US Cashier's Checks, and International/US money orders.
Are your products fake bootlegs?
To the best of our knowledge - No. We sell licensed products directly from the manufacturer's suppliers. They are high quality and just like the products you get in the stores in your home country. However, there are slight variations in the packaging. But then again, we may slip something in their for fun but is actually a quality product for the price.
How can I TRUST YOU?
It's unfortunate that trust is a rare trait these days. But, if no one trusted anyone, then the world would stop to function.
We use to sell on eBay under 'tradersasia'. And, selling online is our ONLY source of income to survive. Furthermore, we do NOT believe in short term gain at the expense of long term stability. That's just doesn't make sense to us.
In addition, we enjoy trading on-line and hope it flourishes instead of people thinking it's not trustworthy. Which is why we believe in transparency and just a different approach overall. Besides, we have around 15 years selling on-line and will continue to the best of our ability for the future.
Our prices are cheaper here for most products since we don't have to pay eCrater any fees. Bless you eCrater person/people and may many good things come your way. We hope many more sellers and buyers use it.

What shipping method do you normally use?
We use Thailand Postal's service called Economy Airmail or SAL(Sea, Air, Land). Registration, priority airmail and Express Mail Service are optional and extra. Inquire for further details.
Delivery times vary from 10-15 full business days, excluding weekends, depending upon countries' Customs inspections. From our own recent experience, shipments to the US, Australia, parts of Europe and New Zealand are the most delayed. Which in the event, could increase delivery times by an additional 10-15 days. If there is a sustained delay with your shipment, or if it arrives damaged or incomplete, we suggest you call your local Government Customs Office in the nearest large port of entry gateway and complain like crazy.

What do you think of eBay/PayPal?
eBay/PayPal is monopolistic and has very excessive fess which are detrimental to e-commerce overall for both sellers and buyers. To list an item for sale at 99 cents costs a total of approximately 80 cents in fees!
Combined fees for both eBay and PayPal cuts into a seller's profit by around 30-40%. Sellers have to pass this on to buyers. If more eBay buyers realized this and shopped at eCrater, they would save considerable money.

How long does it usually take you to ship?
In general, 2 business days at the earliest and 5 business days at the latest, excluding weekends. This allows us some time to gather orders so we don't have to go to the Post Office to ship one or a couple items.
Currently as of March 15, 2010 - PayPal delivery times 10-15 full business days. US Check, US Money Orders, Cashier's Check and concealed Cash, 10-15 full business days after payment received and cleared, which varies from an additional 5-10 full business days.
What are the delivery times after payment is received?
PayPal payments 10-15 full business days with local handling time of 3-5 days. US Personal Checks, 10-15 full business days after payment is received and cleared, which varies from 1-2 weeks. Plus, another 3-5 full business days for local handling. US money orders and cash, normal processing and delivery times.
Why do some items include S&H and some don't...?
Some listings were imported from eBay, which means we were unable to provide free S&H due to eBay/Paypal's excessive fees on the FV(final value, 12% alone). We don't have that fee here at eCrater. We will modify those listings here at eCrater as soon as possible.
What happens if an item is unavailable?
If an item is unavailable, we will contact and offer you a similar replacement item for the same amount of the original item. If this doesn't suit you, we will refund your money.
ATTENTION - PLEASE READ: What will happen if I file a Paypal Dispute against you?
If you file a Paypal dispute against us, we will IMMEDIATELY CANCEL your order and NOT SHIP IT if hasn't been shipped. You will than have to wait another 3-5 weeks for Paypal to investigate and than reverse the charge back to your account. Thus, it's better to wait for your item and be patient.
Paypal always sides with the buyer in disputes. If you file one, and we sent product to you which you received, we will do everything with our 35 years of computing experience to make you wish you didn't do it. This is known as Dispute Fraud. We conduct business honestly, and we expect our buyers to do so as well. We will also blacklist you and you will not be able to purchase from us in the future.
If you filed a Dispute and product was sent, we will contact you to try to resolve the issue. But, if you fail to reply, that will be considered as acknowledgement of receipt of product. Thus, we will then go into attack mode against you to make you wish you never should of done what you did...Once again, we conduct business honestly, and we expect our buyers to do so as well.
We're not the fastest with shipping due to limitations imposed by Payal to protect YOU. BUT, we do have the best prices and when we do run late, we always throw in a little something for you to try to make up for it. Some of the things we have thrown in, include: New Toys, Natural Snacks, Herbal MInts, Pilot Pens, Miffy Mini-Highlight Pens, etc. So, it's best to be patient and wait for your order.
Why are you less expensive than the competitors?
3 Primary reasons:
1.) We live in probably the least expensive part of Thailand. And, we have very little personal overhead.
2.) We use a shipping method which is relatively inexpensive, reliable and prompt.
3.) We believe firmly in free market competition and competition in general. And, we listen to global markets which today requires low prices coupled with decent service. It also demands making products available abroad, which are not available in other markets. It's a very difficult challenge to balance prices, service and margins. However, we welcome the challenge.
How can I make sense of your feedback rating?
Well...eCrater's feedback system is based upon the number of sales and feedbacks left for the seller. HOWEVER, most buyer's don't leave feedback on eCrater, unless it's usually negative. And, in many instances, many people do not actually purchase, which distorts the feedback rating.
If we receive a negative feedback on eCrater and it's not our fault, we dispute it and they usually remove it. But, if it's our fault due to oversight or negligence, we let it stand. We're not perfect, but we try out best...
eCrater's feedback system does need some work, however, they provide their on-line stores for FREE which more than makes up for the inadequacies with their system.
Lastly, eBay's system is grossly expensive, slow and full of glitches. And, they are a multi-Billion dollar corporation. eCrater is truly a blessing for buyers, sellers and e-commerce in general.
How much is faster shipping?
For Priority Airmail with delivery times of 7-10 business days as opposed to 10-15 days for Economy Airmail, just add an additional $3 if your order is under $10.00 USD -

Do you offer cancellations of orders?
Generally...No. Unless, it's a honest mistake or if something like an emergency occurs on your end while your order is processing. Cancellations and refunds creates additional work which would require us to raise prices. In addition, our products are generally low cost consumable items which are used everyday. If our items were expensive and mechanical in nature, it would be a different scenario.
Do you ever offer promotions and how can I find out about them?
Yes, we do offer promotions from time to time for various reasons and products, however, we do not advertise them - So, it's best to check back from time to time...you'll never know unless you do, and you could be surprised to find something you may just need.

What is Thailand like?
Contrary to popular belief, Thailand is not really a developing country. Or, a lawless place. %95 Theravada Buddhist, Thailand and its people are very proud of their country, sometimes to a fault. The pressures of modern day western life are not as extreme, thus, creating a general atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility. The recent political unrest here is not indicative of the country and its people as a whole. Not at all. Inherently, with much more freedoms than most countries, Thailand is a MUST visit in anyone's lifetime. Please do so if you can...Thailand is truly AMAZING.
Can I trust the Thailand Postal service?
Absolutely. Transparent, efficient, super friendly and coupled with superb transportation logistics - The Thailand Postal service is probably the best on Earth. We love the people at the Thailand Postal service. Postal services in other countries are the ones that worry us sometimes...
I am going to leave you a negative feedback because I'm not happy with my order...what do you think about that?
It amazes us when people just go ahead and leave us negative feedback without contacting us first about their order. This occurs around %50 of the time. It doesn't make sense, because, if there's something wrong it can be corrected. Where as, if there's something wrong, and you don't contact us - There's really not much we can do.
And, if you do leave us negative feedback and we contact you to try to resolve it and you don't reply to us...we will contact eCrater to have them remove it.
What kind of customers do you cater to...?
We like our customers to be thrifty and patient. Unfortunately, many of our products will never be offered in other places, and so to be able to keep prices down, we have to offer a little slower shipping method. Also unfortunate...you can not get both fast delivery and low product prices directly from Asia. It's just not possible due to shipping...unless, a product is sold as a 'market leader'.
Are there other considerations which may slow down the delivery of my order?
Yes...other than product availability, Thailand has quadruple the number of holidays than most countries:
Most of the holidays occur at the full moon in accordance with Buddhist traditions.
There are also times when we're tired, ill and just not capable of getting things done in a timely fashion. We are but 1 person and 3 dogs doing everything. Your patience and understanding is always appreciated, as well as your business...
